Special rasam, made by freshly grounded masala. It will be nice nice along hot rice, and a veg fry.. Like potato fry / lady’s finger fry / brinjal fry / raw banana fry..

Thour dhal – 1 tbs
Jeera – 3/4 tbs
Coriander seeds – 1/4 tbs
Red chilli – 12
( soak all for 15 minutes)
Garlic Cloves – 4
Curry leaves few
Grind all together to a fine paste
Tamarind – lemon size
Tomato – 1 large
Turmeric powder, Hing, salt, oil, mustard seeds, Jeera, curry and coriander leaves.
Add grinded paste, Tamarind water, tomato, salt, turmeric powder, Hing, curry leaves and boil it for 3,4 minutes.
Put the flame low, add 1 glass water, mix. Check the taste and adjust water and salt. Now don’t disturb, allow it to start forming. In oil fry mustard seeds, Jeera, curry, coriander leaves and add it to rasam. Switch off, close with lid for 10 minutes. It is ready to serve now.
