Potato green peas masala poriyal
A special freshly grinded masala for this dish gives a excellent aroma and taste. It will be good choice as a side dish for any rice, and also to roll in Chappathi, make Sandwich..
This measures will be enough for 4 person
Potato – 2
Green peas – 200 gm
Onion – 1/2
Ginger garlic paste – 1/2 tsp
Mint, coriander leaves – 2 tsp
Small Onions – 3
Green chilly – 1
Coconut – 1 tsp
Turmeric powder – 1/4 tsp
Chilly powder – 1/2 tsp
Coriander powder – 1/2 tsp
Fennel seeds – 1/2 tsp
Cinnamon – 1
Cloves – 2
Oil,salt,hing,mint, coriander leaves.
In a cooker add a glass of water, cut potatoes and put inside. Keep green peas in a cup along with 2 tbs water. Cook for 2 whistles.
Grind masala by adding little water. Peel potato and cut into cubes.
In oil fry jeera, add Mint leaves, onion and fry for 2 minutes. Add grinded masala, hing, salt and cook for 2 minutes.
Add potato, green peas along cooked water and mix. Close and cook for 4,5 minutes in low flame. Open, check it is cooked well., check for salt.
Add coriander leaves, mix and switch off. Now Special Potato Peas Masala Poriyal is ready.
