Recipes
Murungai Kai Sambar
Thour dhal – 200 gm ( 3/4 cup)
Drumstick – 2
Small onion – 10
Sambar podi – 3 tsp

Turmeric powder – 1/2 tsp
Rasam powder – 1/2 tsp

Tamarind – lemon size
Tomato – 1
Oil, mustard seeds, Hing, red chilli, salt, curry leaves.
Cook Dhal along turmeric for 4 whistles. Mash it. In little oil fry onion, vegetable, add tomato, Dhal water, sambar podi, salt. Once it boils add Tamarind pulp. Close, cook for 1 whistle. Open, add mashed dhal, little water, cook for few minutes. Add Rasam powder,. In oil fry mustard seeds, hing, red chilli, curry leaves, add it to sambar.
Hot sambar is ready to serve.
Vallai Kai Millagu Varuval
Vallai Kai – 1 large
Ginger garlic paste – 1/2 tsp
Chilli powder – 1/2 tsp
Garam Masala – 1/2 tsp
Coriander powder – 1 tsp
Turmeric powder – 1/2 tsp
Hing – 1/4 tsp
Salt, oil, curry leaves, Pepper powder.
Cut vegetable as shown in the video, put in boiling water. Cook for 3 minutes. Stain the water at once. In oil fry Ginger garlic paste, all powders, salt, curry leaves. Add little water. Add vegetable, mix well. Cook in low flame for 7,8 minutes, until it becomes dry. Add Pepper powder, Cook in medium flame until it gets roasted. Filp in between.
It is done.
This fry will be a nice combination along with sambar. Serve murrungai kai sambar, valaikai fry with hot rice. Try this Combo, send me your feedbacks
