Many of them don’t like Kootu, cabbage.. If you do this method, then cabbage Kootu will be one of your favorite.. It will be nice as a side dish for rice, Chappati, ragi Dosa, Wheat dosa..

Review of the cooker shown in video
Cabbage – 200 gm
Moong dhal – 4 tbs
Channa dhal – 2 tbs
Small onion – 6
Garlic cloves – 4
Tomato – 1
Sambar powder – 1/2 tsp
Turmeric powder – 1/2 tsp
Coconut – 3 tbs
Jeera – 1 tsp
Red chilli – 3
Green chilli – 1
Oil, salt, curry, Coriander leaves, mustard seeds, hing.
Dry roast moong dhal, keep aside. Add Channa dhal to it, wash and soak for 15 minutes.
Add it to cooker, some water, turmeric powder and cook for 2 whistles.
Add cabbage, tomato, sambar powder to the cooked dhal, cook for one whistle.
In little oil fry mustard seeds, hing, curry leaves add chopped onion, garlic and fry for 2 minutes. Add cooked dhal and cabbage, add salt.
Grind coconut, jeera, chillies, curry, Coriander leaves, and add it to the Kootu, add little water and cook for few minutes. Add Coriander leaves, switch off.
