Alloo Paratha is a common and popular dish in North India. Putting potato stuffing inside wheat flour Chappathi. It is very tasty, can be eaten as it is. North Indians eat this along with curd, mango Pickle. This is also a good for lunch box
Wheat flour – 2 cups
Salt, turmeric powder.
Mix all this, add water and make it as a soft dove. Beat it using a little stone for a minute as shown. This step will make Chappathi soft and Puffy.
Potato – 3
Chilly powder, garam masala powder, Coriander powder, dry mango powder – 1/2 tsp each.
Turmeric powder – 1/4 tsp
Green chilly – 1
Ginger garlic paste – 1/2 tsp
Salt, oil, Coriander leaves.
Add salt and mash potatoes to a smooth consistency.
In little oil fry green chilly, ginger garlic paste, all Powders and add mashed potatoes. Mix all well in low flame for 2 minutes, add Coriander leaves and mix well.
Don’t add any water for this. If you don’t have dry mango powder, add a tsp of lemon juice. Let this stuffing to cool down.
Make stuffed Paratha as shown in the video and cook on tawa both sides, by adding little ghee.
