Avarai Kottai – 1 cup ( 250 gm)
Brinjal – 250 gm
Drumstick – 1
Small onion – 10
Tomato – 1
Tamarind – lemon size
Turmeric powder – 1/4 tsp
Kulumbu powder – 4 tsp
Coriander powder – 1 tsp
Rasam powder – 1/2 tsp
Jaggery – 1/2 tsp
Coconut – 8 tbs
Jeera – 1 tsp
Small onion – 4
Garlic Cloves – 4
Grind along with little water to a smooth paste.
Salt, oil, curry leaves, mustard seeds, Jeera, Hing, red chilli.
In a cup of water, add avarai kottai, boil for few minutes, add onion, vegetables, tomato, turmeric powder, Kulambu powder, salt. Cook for 2 minutes. Add Tamarind pulp, close and cook for one whistle.
Open, add coconut paste, coriander powder, rasam powder, jaggery, boil for 4 minutes.
In oil fry mustard seeds, Jeera, Hing, red chilli, curry leaves, add it to Kulambu. Now it is ready. Serve along with rice.
