Beetroot, little carrot, onion, mixed along with flour, and deep fried., it is a nice snacks for evenings along with hot coffee or tea..
We normally make pakkoda using Onion,.. Here using beetroot gives a different taste and attractive colour.
This measures will be enough for 2 person.
Beetroot – 5 tbs ( graded)
Carrot – 2 tbs ( graded)
Onion – 1/2 finely sliced.
Gram flour – 5 tbs
Rice flour – 2 tbs
Chilly powder – 1 tsp
Salt, hing, oil, curry leaves.
Mix all veggie, salt chilly powder together. Add flours, hing, curry leaves, mix well for 2 minutes, don’t add any water.
It will all bind together, it should be thick as well as well binded as shown. If it is watery, you can adjust by adding little more flour.
Heat oil and deep fry in batches as shown.
