Carrot Chutney is a easy, healthy chutney, which is suitable for all tiffen items and also for rice.
Ingredients
Carrot – 2 ( 250 Gm)
Small onions – 6
Garlic cloves – 3
Red chilly – 3
Tamarind – 2 inch
Coconut – 4 tbs
Oil, salt, hing, Ulund dhal, gram dhal, jeera.
Steps
Peel the skin and grade the carrots. In little oil fry a tsp of ulund dhal and a tsp of gram dhal, add a tsp of jeera, red chilly, onion, garlic and fry for a few minutes.
Add graded carrots, salt and mix well. Cook in low flame for 3 minutes. Add tamarind, coconut and mix. Switch off. Grind it to a smooth paste by adding little water.
