Garlic Gravy is a traditional spicy gravy which is also a healthy dish.
Ingredients:
Garlic cloves – 30, small onions – 8, tamarind – amla size, gingelly oil -4 spoons, mustard seeds, asfotida,salt, turmeric powder – 1/4 spoon, kulambu powder – 2 1/2 spoons, coriander powder -1 spoon, coconut 4 table spoon, jeera 1/2 spoon, curry & coriander leaves, Jaggery 1 spoon
Steps:
In 3 spoon of oil fry mustard seeds, asfotida. Add onion, garlic and fry for 2 minutes, add all powders, mix well. Add tamarind pulp, salt and boil it for 4 minutes. Grind the coconut along with jeera, curry, coriander leaves into a fine paste. Add this paste to gravy, add curry leaves and water, boil it for 4 minutes. Add jaggery, coriander leaves.
