Channa is a common prasatham for all Pooja. It is also a good snacks. Mixing fresh fruits in it makes it more healthy and colorful snacks.
Channa – 100 gm
Apple – 1
Pineapple – 1 cup chopped
Pomogranate – 1 cup
Lemon juice – 2 tsp
Salt, ghee, jeera
Soak channa for 8 hours and cook along with little water and salt for 3,4 whistles.
In a tsp of ghee fry jeera and add cooked channa along with the cooked water. Cook for 2,3 minutes until it becomes dry. Let it cool.
Peel the apple and chop it. Mix all the fruits, channa, lemon juice and little salt.
Because of lemon juice, the fruits will not change the color.
It will be nice for your kids snacks box.
