Hotel Sambar will be very nice in aroma and taste, because they add freshly grinded powder and 2,3 mixed vegetables.
Ingredients
To grind
Coriander seeds – 2 tsp
Red chilly – 4
Gram Dhal – 1 tsp
Ulund dhal – 1 tsp
Jeera – 1/2 tsp
Pepper – 1/4 tsp
Methi seeds – 1/4 tsp
Curry leaves
Dry roast all and powder in mixi.
Small onions – 8
Tomato – 1
Brinjal – 100 Gm
Drumstick – 1
Pumpkin – 1 cup
Tamarind – Amla size
Cooked thour dhal – 100 gm
Dhal cooked Water
Salt, mustard seeds, oil, hing, curry and Coriander leaves, jaggery.
Steps
In a cooker add all vegetables, onions, tomato, add fresh powder, dhal cooked water and allow it to one boil. Add tamarind pulp, salt and cook for 1 whistle. After 3 minutes remove the steam and open.
Add mashed dhal, 1/2 tsp jaggery and cook for 2, 3 minutes. In one tsp of oil fry mustard seeds, hing, curry leaves and add it to Sambar. Add Coriander leaves.
Now aromatic Hotel Lunch Sambar is ready.
