This video shows how to make hole wheat flour at home and use it for 3 months. It will be without any preservative and you can make very soft Chappathi, crispy Poori, wheat dosa, kangji using this.
Ingredients and Steps
Hole Punjab Wheat – 5 kg or how much you want.
Get unpolished wheat so the flour will be fiber content.
Put 1 kg of wheat in a bowl and wash it 6,7 times thoroughly until all dusts are gone .
Filter it, do the same with rest of wheat in batches.
Spread in a cotton cloth and dry it in sunlight for 4,5 hours. Dry it again for next 2 days, until the moisture is gone.
Wheat should be dry and hot. If there is moisture, we can’t store it for long time.
Trasfer it to a dry container and grind it in mill. It should be very soft.Don’t slive it.
Don’t close it immediately, it will be hot keep it open for few hours, until it gets room temperature.
Close it and store air tight. Use dry spoon and hand to handle it.
It can be keep outside and used for 3,4 months.
Definitely you can see the difference in dishes you make from this home made wheat flour. If you try once you will never get store bought wheat flour.
