Bengal gram dhal sweet sundal is a easy, healthy recipe for Navarathri Pooja and for your kids.
Ingredients
Bengal gram dhal – 1 cup
Jaggery – 3/4 cup
Coconut – 3 tbs
Dry grapes, ghee, cardamom powder, dry ginger powder.
Steps
Wash and soak dhal for 2 hours. Cook with little water for 2 whistles.
Melt the jaggery with little water. In 1 tsp of ghee fry dry grapes, coconut and keep aside.
Filter the melted jaggery and boil it for 2 minutes. Add cardamom, dry ginger Powders. Add cooked dhal. Cook it for 3,4 minutes until it becomes dry. Add roasted coconut, dry grapes.
Iron and protein rich sweet sundal is ready now.
