Chettinad Kalan Getty Kulambu is a famous recipe in Chettinad, served in weddings along white rice.
Button mushrooms – 200 Gm.

Small onions – 30
Green chilly – 1
Garlic cloves – 6
Ginger – 1″inch
Tomato – 2
Coconut – 2 tbs
Coriander seeds – 2 tbs
Red chilly – 6
Pepper – 1 tsp
Jeera – 1 tsp
Fennel seeds – 1 tsp
Cinnamon – 2″inch
Cloves – 4
Oil, salt, turmeric powder, curry leaves.
Crush 5 small onions, garlic, ginger, green chilly.
Dry roast spices and powder it. Add coconut and grind to a smooth paste, adding little water.
In 7 tsp of gingerly oil fry mustard seeds, chopped small onions, add crushed onion, garlic ginger.
Add tomatoes and fry, add mushrooms and cook for a minute. Add grinded masala and cook for a minute.
Add little turmeric powder a cup of water, salt, close and cook for 4 minutes. Open, add curry leaves and cook for 2 minutes.
Now spice Chettinad Mushroom Gravy is ready. Try and enjoy with rice.
