Tapioca ( Maravali Kilangu in Tamil)
Maravali Kilangu Vadai
It is very different in taste, crispy outside, soft inside.
Maravali Kilangu – 2 Medium (500 gm)
Channa Dhal – 50 gm
Ginger – 1″ inch
Garlic – 6 Cloves
Cinnamon, Cloves, Fennel seeds,
Green chilli – 2
Red chilli – 5
Onion, curry, coriander leaves, oil to fry.
Soak Dhal for 2 hours. Soak kilangu for 15 minutes. Peel the skin and grade it as shown in the video.
Grind all together, without adding water, to a course. Add finely chopped onion, curry, coriander leaves, mix well.
Make Vadai, deep fry in oil as shown. Tasty Vadai is ready for this rainy season evenings. Enjoy with hot coffee or tea.
