Laddu is a traditional sweet of India for any occasion and festivals.
Gram flour – 1 cup
Sugar – 1, 1/4 cup
Water – 1 cup for sugar syrup
( use same cup for all measurements)
Ghee – 3 tbs
Cashew, dry grapes
Cloves – 4
Cardamom powder – 1/4 tsp
Nut meg powder, saffron – 2 pinch each.
Oil to fry.
Mix gram flour with water and make it as a dosa batter consistency.
Make bondhi as shown.
Add a cup of water in sugar and boil it for around 8, 10 minutes, just before 1 string consistency.
Add bondhi to hot sugar syrup. Add saffron, cardamom, nut meg Powders.
Keep it for 10 minutes. Mash it slightly as shown. Let it cool down for another 30 minutes.
Fry cashew, dry grapes, cloves in ghee and add it. Apply ghee in your hand and make laddu as shown.
