Cabbage Broad Beans Sambar
Cabbage and little broad beans cooked along with tomato, tamarind pulp, sambar powder, salt. Added cooked dhal, seasoned with mustard seeds, hing and curry leaves. This is a no onion no garlic recipe.

Cooked thour dhal – 200 gm

Cabbage – 300 gm ( you can use the stem too)
Broad beans – 100 gm
Sambar powder – 2,1/2 tsp
Tamarind – Amla size
Tomato – 1
Salt,oil,curry and Coriander leaves, mustard seeds, hing.
In a tsp of oil fry cabbage and broad beans for a minute. Add tomato, Sambar powder and dhal cooked water. Once it boils add tamarind water and salt. Cook for 1 whistle.
Once steam get down, open and add cooked and mashed dhal and cook for 3,4 minutes.
In a tsp of oil, fry mustard seeds, hing, curry leaves and add it to the Sambar. Add Coriander leaves, mix.
It is ready now. It will be very nice along with hot rice. It can be a taken as a side dish for idly, dosa also.
