Country chicken soup is a healthy soup.. It can be taken as a rasam along rice and drink as a soup.
Ingredients and steps
Country chicken – 200 Gm
Ginger garlic paste – 1/4 tsp
Crushed small onions – 4
Turmeric powder, chilly powder, salt – 1/4 tsp each.
Mix all in a cooker, and fry for, 2,3 minutes, add 3 glasses of water and allow it to boil. Close and cook for 20 whistles.
Coriander seeds, pepper, jeera, fennel seeds – 1 tsp each
Cinnamon – 1, cloves – 2 cardamom – 1
Dry roast all this and powder it.
Add 6 garlic cloves, 1 green chilly, little curry, Coriander leaves to the powder and grind it.
In 2 tsp of gingerly oil fry 1 tsp of jeera, little hing, one splited red chilly, curry leaves, add grinded powder and fry for a minute.
Add 2 chopped tomatoes and little salt and cook for 3 minutes.
Add 1 glass of water and allow it to boil.
Add this to the cooked chicken, add salt, water.. Taste it and adjust salt and water. (this will give you 1 liter soup)
Allow it to boil for 2 minutes, add Coriander leaves and switch off.
