Raw Mochai Kai is available in seasons. This is made like as Sundal. You can use this as Poriyal, snacks. You can also use this for prasatham.
If you don’t want onions, ginger garlic paste you can also do without them.
Raw Mochai Kai – 200 Gm
Onion – 1
Green chilly – 3
Ginger, garlic paste – 1 tsp
Turmeric powder – 1/4 tsp
Chilly powder, Coriander powder, garam masala – 1/2 tsp each
Coconut – 1 tbs
Oil, mustard seeds, hing, curry, Coriander leaves.
Cook Mochai Kai along with little water for 2 whistles. Add salt.
In oil fry mustard seeds, hing, fry onions, green chilly, curry leaves .
Add ginger, garlic paste, all Powders, and cooked Mochaikai,along with cooked water.
Cook for 2,3 minutes, until it is dry, add coconut, Coriander leaves and mix well.
