A traditional method of Pasalai Keerai Masiyal.
Pasalai Keerai – 2 bunch
Small onions – 25
Green chilly – 1
Oil – 1 tsp
Jeera – 1 tsp
Ulund dhal – 1/2 tsp
Take the leaves, wash. Boil a glass of water add 20 small onions in it. After a minute add keerai and cook in open lid for 4,5 minutes.
In 1/2 tsp of oil fry little jeera, green chilly and add it to the keerai. Let it boil for a minute.
Switch off, add salt and mash it coursly.
In little oil fry, ulund dhal, jeera, hing, add crushed onions and fry it for a minute and add this to the keerai.
Pasalai Keerai is a family of palak keerai.. You can do the same recipe using palak keerai also.
