If you have Dhal Podi, in Tamil known as Parrupu Podi, you can do this Podi Rice for Lunch Box.
Parrupu Podi is available in stores or you can make it by referring the video
Cooked Rice – 2 cups
Parrupu Podi, gingerly oil, mustard seeds, jeera, red chilly, curry leaves.
Rice should be non sticky and warm. Add Parrupu Podi to the warm rice and mix gently. Taste it and adjust podi and salt.
In 4 tsp of gingerly oil fry all ingredients and add it to the podi rice.
Gingerly oil keeps the rice soft, until lunch time.
