A special Semiya Payasam recipe for Navarathri and 3 rd birthday for Gowri Samayalarai.
Semiya Payasam is a very common Payasam served in all occasions and Poojas.
Watch the easy and perfect way to do this.
Vermicelli (semiya) – 50 Gm (1 small cup)
Sugar – 3/4 to 1 cup
Boiled milk – 250 ml
Cashews, dry grapes, cardamom powder, ghee.
In 1/2 tsp of ghee fry cashews and dry grapes, keep aside. In the same pan fry Vermicelli for 2 minutes. Add little water and cook for 2, 3 minutes.
Add boiled milk, and cook for 2 minutes. Add sugar and cook for 2 minutes. Add fried ingredients, cardamom powder.
You can slightly adjust the sugar and milk according to your taste and consistency
