Potato Peas Masala is a hotel style recipe, served for Poori. This can be used as a side dish for Poori, chappathi and dosa and can be used to spread inside Masala Dosai.
Potato – 3 – cooked
Green peas – 100 Gm – cooked
Onion – 2
Tomato – 2
Ginger garlic paste – 1/2 tsp
Green chilly – 2
Turmeric powder – 1/4 tsp
Chilly powder – 1 tsp
Coriander powder – 1,1/2 tsp
Garam masala powder – 1/2 tsp
Sugar – 1/4 tsp
Oil, salt, hing, mustard seeds, Cinnamon, Coriander leaves.
In 4 tsp of oil fry mustard seeds, Cinnamon and fry onions for 3,4 minutes. Add hing, green chilly, ginger garlic paste and mix well. Add grinded tomatoes. Add turmeric, chilly, Coriander Powders and 1/2 cup of water.
Let it boil, add cooked potatoes, green peas and salt. Mash 1 potato along with some water and add it to the gravy. Add 1 cup water, garam masala and cook for 4 minutes.
Add sugar, Coriander leaves, mix well and switch off.
It is ready now. Serve along with Poori, chappathi and dosa. If you want to use to make Masala Dosai, make it little thick consistency.
