Raw Banana Masala Curry
Tender half cooked raw banana is sauteed along freshly grounded masala, includes coriander seeds, red chilli, pepper, jeera, cinnamon, cloves, fennel seeds. Also some fresh coconut, onion, ginger and garlic.
This is a masala coated spicy fry, which will be a nice combination with Sambar, rasam, Curd rice.

Tender raw banana – 2
Turmeric powder – 1/4 tsp
Coriander seeds – 2 tsp
Red chilli – 2
Pepper, jeera, fennel seeds – 1/4 tsp each
Cinnamon – 1
Cloves – 2
Coconut – 1 tsp
Ginger garlic paste – 1/4 tsp
Small onion – 3
Curry leaves, oil, salt,hing.
Cut raw banana into cubes. Add it to the boiling water, add turmeric powder and cook for 2,3 minutes. It should be half cooked. Stain the water at once.
Dry roast all spices and powder it, add coconut, onion, ginger garlic paste, few curry leaves and grind to a smooth paste by adding litte water.
In 3 tsp of oil fry curry leaves, add grinded masala, salt, hing, and cook for a minute, add raw banana and mix well, add 1/4 cup water and cook in low flame for 3,4 minutes.
Once it becomes dry and cooked well, switch off. Now the yummy masala coated Vallai Kai Fry is ready.
